Wow!!! Long live the Intel!!!  http://s5.postimg.org/9ph5te63n/lol.gif

I wrote about  files exchange impossibility between smartphone and ultrabook and vise versa due to lack Obex File Transfer Service in BT stack Intel still 2012.12.10 12:09 PM Intel (R) Centrino (R) Advanced-N 6235 problem

Barely two years and voila - Microsoft Obex File Transfer Service included in the PROSet / Wireless Software for Bluetooth (BT_17.0.1401.03_e164.exe).

Bravo Intel!!! http://s5.postimg.org/6u42mj23n/appl.gifPerfect customer support.!!!  http://s5.postimg.org/9ph5te63n/lol.gif

Well. Files bungle begun transferred in both directions. But what about bitrate? It is just awful!!!

My problematic configuration....

1. Ultrabook Samsung  NP530U3 with Intel Advanced-N 6235.

2. Smartphone Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 with a combo WiFi + BT module Murata M2322007 with  integrated dual-band (2,4 and 5GHz IEEE 802.11/b/g/n) bluetooth 4.0 + HS & FM Reciever chip Broadcom BCM4334.

On an example of the file transfer size ≈ 32MB (33743680 bytes) from NP530U3C to GT-I9300 bitrate barely reaches 140KB/sec.

BITRATE Bluetooth NP530U3C to GT-SI9300.png

In the opposite direction from GT-I9300 to NP530U3C the same file is transferred in 3min. 14sec.=194sec. Accordingly bitrate is 33743680 : 1024: 194 = 169,86 KB/sec..

But what about 24Mbit/sec that stated in 4.0 + HS specification?

I hope Intel will solve this problem in next two years. http://s5.postimg.org/9ph5te63n/lol.gifhttp://s5.postimg.org/z9jfztrhf/mad.gif
