I just built my nuc5i7 with 16gb hyperx 1866, samsung sm951 256gb ahci, seagate sshd 1TB and windows 10 pro 64bit!Nuc's secs reports that maximum m.2 speed is 1600mb/s but after some benchmarks with AS SSD the max read speed was 1340mb/s..Is this normal?Does anyone have similar results? Thanks!
Can you please help me out to have software of intel proset for wired connection version 8.2.1.0 for windows 2000 OS
Anyone else to post results with similar setup???
Thank you for your response! That one worked to install, but I'm interested in some of the older versions that is for win7,8,8.1. Is it possible to install them, and if so, how do I do it? I just get a message sayin 'computer dont fulfill the minimum requirements' when trying to...
Hey,
i´m trying to use the Galileo Board for some small educational assaembler programs.
The students should wirte there code on an Windows PC and then load it to the Galileo Board, where it will be executed.
During the execution the student should be able to check the values of the registers via the PC and executed there programm step by step.
This is my first "project" in this field and really dont have any idea how to do it. I´m missing the idea of how to connect to the galileo board and look inside the CPU registers.
I have already checked some other threads like those listed below, but it didn´t help very much.

Why Assembler - Visual MASM - The MASM IDE for Microsoft Macro Assembler
Does anyone know a solid "How To"-Guid that deals with this?
Thanks Cesar!
Not sure I understood...or maybe you missunderstood my problem here. I need to output two audio streams simultaneously, but one digital and one analog. Main zone is my regular 5.1 setup with HDMI. Zone 2 has to analog since my Sony reciever doesnt have support for digital sound in zone 2.
I replaced my old Popcorn Hour media box with the NUC. With the Popcorn Hour there was both HDMI and analog connections....so I could cable it to the reciever with both HDMI and analog cables. Is that possible somehow with the NUC?
Regarding Intel® HD Graphics 530 for 6th Generation Intel® Core™ Processors:
My screen's resolution (Samsung FX2490HD) and WIN7 64bit settings are identical (1920x1080p, 60Hz), but doesn't fit. All around the displayed screen is too wide, hence the taskbar and several others become invisible. Furthermore the text is very fuzzy. But the monitor & PC settings and drivers are up to date. I also tested another HDMI cable, but in vain. Any idea how to solve?
if you download the zip version of the driver you can install it with device manager by clicking update driver and selecting browse computer then selecting driver from list and selecting the driver version you want
Hello,
I posted on MRAA github for changing the ADC frequency but they suggested to use libiio. So is it possible to use libiio with edison arduino breakout board. And how shall I get 8khx adc frequency using libiio?
I see that the adc pins on the edison are connected to ADS7951 and it has a 1mhz sampling rate. So how shall I achieve 8khz sampling rate on the edison arduino board.
Not working on a Medion akoya E7219 with Intel HD Graphics 3000.
I've gone through all the above messages and tried to apply any of these solutions. None worked for me.
Once after installing the test driver and after connecting the laptop to an external hdmi monitor it seemed to work!
But after a clean install on the same laptop this solution could not be reproduced.
Is there any work on this issue right now? Are we going to get some drivers that will work fine?
Following behavior is recognized on the laptop:
After start up the HDMI Port "thinks" it is the internal adapter. Connecting an external display will show a logon screen.
Then I press the on/off button for hibernation.
After waking up the laptop, the logon screen is on the real internal display.
Hi,PabloM,
It is so nice to receive your advice, and it does work.
Thank you so much!

I have a system that uses an arduino and a node.js host process and works on a PC or rPi. I'd like to have this all run on the Edison, so i'm looking for a way to minimally modify the arduino code to do this, and what I've come up with is using socat to create some virtual serial devices and use TTYUARTClass to make a serial object in arduino. this way i can use defines to pick what serial device name to use on the arduino side and leave the rest of the code alone.
problem is, there's no socat. so, other ideas? I've seen the fifo files idea, but that's a lot of modding on the arduino code.
This is on a Sony Vaio running Win7 Pro x64. I uninstalled my old Intel PROSet/Wireless Software & Drivers, and installed v18.20.0. I can see/confirm the new version in "Program and Features". However if I go to Properties > Driver for the N6230 card the driver version appears to be v15.17.0.1. Any idea why? Thanks.
Hi Jonathan_Intel
Thanks for your response.
I have looked at page 13 of the document of the link re Intel 750 SSD Performance Testing.
I'll use IO Meter to test my SSD tonite when I get home from work, however are you please able to also answer a couple of questions as I have never used IO Meter previously:-
Apologies if my questions are basic but want to be certain

使用DPDK开发了一个网络收包程序,
网卡信息如下:
Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82599 10 Gigabit Dual Port NetWork Connection
Subsystem: Silicom Ltd. Device 0f00
dkdk版本为2.1.0
系统版本 64位ubuntu 12.04
处理器 Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHZ x 8
hugepage mappings for non-NUMA
Hello there,
I need BIOS setting user manual of nuc5i5myhe,
but I cannot find it at all.
Any idea will be appreciated.
Thanks,

Hi Sergio:
I appreciate your continued support and interest. I have now successfully upgrade to the most recent version of the firmware.
root@Edison:~# configure_edison --version
159
I will need to restore my backup from (SD Card) and rebuild the MRAA. That will take me another day to accomplish.
In the meantime, would it be possible for you to run on your system the command "dmesg | grep pca953x" and share your results?
Thank you,
David
I celebrated too soon. Now I have no Bluetooth whatsoever - no Bluetooth devices in device manager, no Bluetooth icon, no Bluetooth in Control Panel. In other words as if my computer didn't have a Bluetooth device at all.
I am not aware of doing anything in particular when Bluetooth stopped working. I've installed a few non-related programs (a video editor, a couple of games, maybe some Windows updates) in the last week, but I can't recall Bluetooth disappearing after any single change. It just wasn't there one morning.
1. Checked BIOS - Bluetooth is enabled. Tried disabling, rebooting, enabling, rebooting, nada.
2. Uninstalled all Bluetooth drivers (the Intel Bluetooth driver installer lets me choose "remove").
3. Re-installed the same drivers I used before. They install just fine.
4. Checked Bluetooth services in Service Manager - all three running and auto-starting.
5. Still no Bluetooth whatsoever. Have tried uninstalling and re-installing my Bluetooth drivers many times, also using different Intel Bluetooth drivers, uninstalling and re-installing all network (wifi etc.) drivers.
6. No Bluetooth. At all.
Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. At my wits' end.
